The Power of The Tongue: The Test of God And Alignment
When I said I was ready,
The Most High showed up
I didn't realise I was being tested at first.
I just thought I was having bad days.
Tired, distracted, a bit off balance
But the more I slowed down and paid attention, the clarity came forth;
Every single word I declared over my life,
into the universe;
was being tested.
Words are not just sounds
It is the culmination of breath and vibration
It is through the word,
all things came into being
It is through the word,
all things were made manifest
Every word spoken pierces the veil of our reality.
Once spoken, no word returns void, it seeks embodiment.
With every declaration,
With every affirmation,
With every prayer,
We are shaping our future
"Life and death are in the power of the tongue."
-Proverbs 18:21
"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you; if you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you"
-Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70
"The universe and all that is in it was spoken into existence by divine thought. The power of the word is the power of creation."
-Excerpt from the Apocryphon of John
When I declared abundance, I was met with moments of scarcity that challenged my faith
When I declared discipline, the distractions proliferated
When I declared alignment, the temptations surfaced
When I spoke, the Most High met me
Not to punish but to expose
Not to drive fear, but to strengthen
Each test is a divine invitation to embody the very essence of what we declare.
The Most High doesn't test us to challenge us, but to refine us.
To strike a balance between our inner world and our outer reality
The tests take many forms, such as old habits resurfacing, doubt, unhealed inner child wounds, emotional triggers, and delays. These are mirrors, not obstacles, exposing the fractures that impede our growth, revealing opportunities for inner alignment.
Not to crush you,
but as a divine reminder
to be exactly who you say you are
Not to break you,
but to see if you are ready to receive what you have declared
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy them, for the temple of God is holy — and you are that temple.”
1 Corinthians 3:16–17
This verse has long been read through the lens of fear, as if the Most High is an executioner waiting to strike. But this is not the nature of divine intelligence. The Most High is not a reactive being, but rather law, order, coherence and alignment.
Do you not know that you are the temple?
That the breath of the Most High dwells within you?
This temple is not built by human hands, nor sustained by doctrine or stone.
It is built through coherence, through alignment of mind, heart, and word.
And if this temple is divided within itself,
If YOU are divided within yourself ...
If the mind declares what the heart does not believe,
If the tongue speaks what the body has not embodied
The structure cannot stand.
Not because God seeks to destroy,
but because law cannot uphold what is misaligned.
The Most High is the epitome of love and alignment.
Love does not protect facades; it protects the truth.
Love brings everything into alignment.
If my mouth declares abundance,
but my heart clings to lack,
love will expose the fracture
If I declare discipline with my mouth,
but my heart is encapsulated with chaos,
love will expose the hypocrisy
Not to shame but to heal
If your mind, heart and words are not cohesive,
destruction is sure
Not destruction of one's self,
but the false self
The facade
The misalignment
The version of you that must be shed to facilitate the reality you're calling in.
Be who you declared yourself to be
Align your mind
Stabilize your heart
Train your body
Prepare your temple to house the frequency and the future you're calling in.
Speak only what you are ready to become.
Be of good courage,
A 🧿🪶
